Zapper

Zapper provides support for several audio formats. And more to the point, it provides support for MP3, WMA, FLAC, and M4A audio files. This means that you can load MP3, WMA, FLAC, and M4A files into Zapper. Once loaded, Zapper will display their audio tags, will let you edit said audio tags, and will look up album information on Discogs.

Zapper does not have to be installed. To get started with this application you need to download an archive, extract its contents, and run the Zapper executable. Zapper’s interface will show up as soon as you run the aforementioned executable.

Zapper has a simple enough interface; I’m sure that it won’t take long to figure it out. It must be mentioned here that Zapper ‘s interface provides support for skins. You can switch from one skin to another from the Preferences menu, the Skin submenu. From this interface you can easily access all the features Zapper has to offer.

Speaking about features, here’s a list: load album; view audio tags; clear tags; add new tags; add new cover, export cover; search on Discogs; sort by tracks, title, duration; create and manage user accounts; manage the renaming pattern, manage the tagging pattern; and more. Since Zapper is free software, you have all the time in the world to uncover everything that it can do.
